Hi all, my partner and I went to Barbury Shooting School last week for
a lesson, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would now like to take
further lessons. We both live in Surrey, is there anywhere local to us
that people would recommend, also are there any tips they people have
for two novices ?

thanks in advance

well Bisley is the obvious one, but there are so many different
disciplines for you to choose from and not all grounds do all disciplines.
Also don't rush off and buy the first gun you like the look of. Beg/borrow
(no don't steal :-) a few and see what suits you. Go to a reputable gun
shop who can give you choice and advice on fitting when you do. Join
CPSA for the really cheap insurance even if you have no desire to
compete (their monthly magazine will also give you a rundown of grounds,
competitions, disciplines, bla bla). Enjoy!

Hi James try these people.
www.headleyclaypigeon.com
Really friendly with novice stands, club guns and they do a mean barbecue.
Have fun
Bill
