CPSA Classifications?

I've just been on the CPSA site, where they have updated the
scores/classifications.
I have only done 2 DTL registered shoots, 1 hit 84/244, the other
88/257, yet they have me down with a 83.5% average.
No, I'm not complaining, as I know I'm crap, but why is the average
lower than my lowest score?
Or, am I reading it wrong, and they are giving me a percentage of the
points scored on my 2 shoots?

Thanks
Alan.

The average on DTL is the average points divided by 3. Well to be totally
precise they take the raw average, ignore everything more than 5% (for ESK
and DTL, 10% for others) below the average, and re-average.

Yours is (244+257)/2/3 = 83.5

Hope that helps.

Apologies for the late reply - it was only when the missus pointed out
your more recent comment that I realised my newsreader had got stuck!
