CPSA scores?

I mentioned at the shooting ground last week that a couple of my scores
from February hadnt shown up on the CPSA site, they said the scores get
emailed either the same day, or the following day after the registered
shoot, and according to them, it is a database file that is
automatically updated to the CPSAs file, whenever they CPSA get round to
updating it.
Anyway, miraculously the scores showed up the following day, but one gave
a score of '0' to everyone who did it, but the other was right.

I've just had a look today to see if Sundays score is up yet (it isnt,
neither is the previous Sundays), and the 2 scores that were missing,
which suddenly appeared 2 months late, have both disappeared again!

Is this just a recent glitch with the CPSAs admin, or have they always
been so unreliable with the scores updates?

And on a similar subject, being a fairly new CPSA member, I havent got a
classification yet.Apparently I will be getting a class for the shoots
I've done until the end of April. (I know it will be 'C') Will the CPSA
inform me, or do I just sign on as a 'C' class from 1st June, rather
than my present unclassified?
Ta
Alan.

There are issues with the scores process which I am taking up with
headquarters. It ought to be much smoother than it is. No argument
there.

Ooops. If all else fails a phonecall or email to cpsa HQ can often sort
out particular issues that they may not know they have.

The classifications will apply for shoots from the 1st June. Typically
they appear 3 or 4 days before they become operative and are available
from the website. Grounds running registered shoots get sent a CD which
have they classifications on, more or less in time for the first shoots of
the new classification!

However if you are 112630 then you have shot enough registered targets to
apply for an interim classification if you particularly need to for a
competition between now and 1st June.

Hope that helps, drop me an email if you need more info.

No shit.It is quite funny, as they stated in Pull magazine that they
expect to get all scores on the net, 3 days after receiving
them.Strange, it is now 3.5 weeks since I did a registered(and 2 others
since), and the scores still are'nt on there.

So I can just sign on as a 'C' class, rather than unclassified from
1.6.06?

Yes, thats me, and no, I'm not that bothered about it, but as I get
better, I may start entering the prize shoot, rather than the 'Birds
Only' that I do now. I got a 66 2 weeks ago, and a 61 last Sunday, at a
harder ground, so once I get to 70, it'll be time to go for the money!

And going off subject now, I was sat on the toilet the other day, and
whose face was looking direclty at me?
Clue: 'Pull' was open on the shelf!

The grounds will have - I hope - CDs with the new classifications on them
by then. So should the website.

You should clean up in C class then!

Er, dunno. Quite a number of people in this newsgroup have featured!
