Options for gun storage when moving house?

If you are moving house, but may have a delay of a month or so in getting a
new cabinet installed, are there gun dealers who will provide a temporary
storage service (and what would the approximate cost be? Obviously, if one
has a friend who can store it that would be an option, but if you don't, are
there any legal options beyond selling the gun and buying another one when
the new cabinet is in?

Seems like this should be a reasonably common problem, what with exchange of
contracts, completion, etc being the mess it always is.

Mine are currently in store in Melbourne (Derbs) at £1/week/gun YMMV.

A RFD will keep it for you for a small charge - probably £10 or so would
seem right, though I could understand if they charged £25 a month.

you could always effect a temporary transfer to a good friend with
sufficient storage space I'm holding 2 guns on that basis.
