Got a friend, small framed, whos looking to get into shooting. Hes tried a
27E and gets on with it. I checked out Guntrader and now in a delema

Dealer local has a Remington badge Baikal, multi choke, brand new, 395.

A dealer in Stafford has a true badged Baikal IZH 27E, multi choke, brand
new for 389

Totally different directions so cant really visit both in one day.

Biggest bonus with the 27E was being light.

Anyone shot the Remington badged model??? Any feed back?

Well we went for the Remington. Nice looking game, bare walnut wood. Finish
is not 100% but the wood is smooth and the metal unmarked.

I cant see how you can go wrong with a 3 year warrant'ed new guy. 4 chokes
and a trigger protector (nonlock)

Going to try and get to Barby to unstiffen it for him on Wednesday. Quiet
looking forward to playing with it actually.

Don't know Baikals, will assume its a O/U model and not an auto.

A lighter gun = more recoil - don't load him up with 'super fast punchy
shells' (pat pending)
