Just to let you know that you were quite right about my choice of skeet
choke in my new gun. See post Choke/Skeet below.
We bought a new trap (Bowman Super 3 with Tripod stand) for our holiday
shooting, and it proved to be a winner. It fired the clays at least twice as
far, and therefore faster, that the old trap, so consequently it provided
far more challenging birds,or should I say targets!;0)...it meant we had to
shoot in a different field with a new layout, but neverthess, after a few
practice shots I soon got my eye in, and was consistently dusting 'em.
Good for both my ego, and the hierarchical structure, when you consider the
three kids and respective partners to contend with!
Happy new year to all shooters,
Steve.

Good news.. I have to say that although moving up to 30" with my Remi, I
also moved from 1/2 to 1/4 choke for Sporting. Of course its improved the
spread for short range stuff but still holds a good pattern for tower work..

Although a tighter choke with give you a good punch it means youve got a
bigger error of margin on the distance shots.

Im glad it works for you.
